In The Spotlight

Explorers batting has let them down for the majority of the season but they would be proud of their last match in the round robin stages as they made 113 chasing 117. Romano Pierre turned up the volume and was looking like a man on a mission. Alick Athanaze is showing some form again and it can only mean good things for the Explorers. They still haven’t got their batting combinations right for most of the tournament and that would be a tricky task for them tomorrow. The most likely candidate for that spot should be Shaman Hooper, a little pocket rocket. Their bowling may suffer because of the absence of Deron Greaves which means that they may have to call upon someone who hasn’t bowled much during the tournament, which is not ideal at this stage of the tournament.

Salt Pond Breakers at one point was looking like the team to beat but they have found themselves in the eliminator game and would be under pressure. They however have a lot of quality in their ranks and have a long, powerful and capable batting unit. They have very good bowlers and is probably the most all round team on paper in this edition. You’d be a brave man to bet against them making it into another finals.

This should be a cracker jacker of a game.
