Match Preview – 21st Match: Dark View Explorers vs Grenadines Divers

May 24, 2021

We are at the business end of the tournament and there is still a chance that Divers can quality, but they will need a win to keep their hopes alive.

In The Spotlight

Divers are a good unit but things aren’t going their way. The have the players that can impact on the game but they haven’t gotten a collective effort from the batting or bowling in most of the matches. They will need to rally together one more time to try and keep their hopes alive. We are now at the stage where 100 seems to be the par score, so the batsmen got to aim for that and the bowling have to try their best not to concede past that.

Explorers are sitting comfortable on the table and because of their solid net run rate, another win will more than likely book them a spot in the top two of standings. They have a long batting lineup so have the capability to post large totals or chase them down. Luke Wilson and Rayan Williams have been bowling well, to compliment the steady opening bowling of spinners Shamon Hooper and Deron Greaves. Shamon Hooper is in sublime form and with the way Romano Pierre has been batting, Explorers are looking better than ever.
