Match Preview – 20th Match: Fort Charlotte Strikers vs Grenadines Divers
Divers are in a must win situation to really keep their hopes alive of a playoff spot.
In The Spotlight
Asif Hooper is back in form with a bang, beating bowlers all around the park in ways we have witnessed in the past. Unfortunate for Divers, no one else apart from Abraham was able to assist him. They are without Tilron Harry so the burden is really on the top 4 to do the runs scoring. Richie Richards had couple good hits lower down the order which was a plus. Razine & Bracie Browne have been in good bowling form. Divers aren’t playing bad Cricket, they’re just unable to finish off games for the win.
Strikers are on cloud nine – they have won 4 games in a row and will look to make that 5 and try to stake a claim for one of the top two spots in the table. They’re now scoring runs more freely and with their varied bowling attack, they’ve become a much tougher opposition. Their team spirit is on a high and one of the few teams that doesn’t have injury concerns. Divers will be desperate for a win, and while Strikers have already qualified, don’t look for them to back down from this encounter..
