Match Preview – 6th Match: Salt Pond Breakers vs Dark View Explorers
Both the Breakers and Explorers have started their 3.0 edition campaign off with a win. It means that someone will be on the losing end after they battle it out. Who it is, will be anyone’s guess.
In The Spotlight
Romano Pierre played with the Breakers last edition, and didn’t get much opportunity to bat. He has changed franchise and was given the opportunity to bat and he cashed in on the opportunity, reaping the rewards of his constant daily trainings. Explorers looks a very formidable team on paper, boasting both quality and power in their batting ranks. Deron Greaves and Shamon Hooper haven’t fired as yet, but look out for them, it’s only a matter of time.
Breakers had a horrible start to their innings in their first outing. Thankfully, a late charge by Seon Sween bailed them out of trouble and drove them to a winning total. Rickford Walker has been out of touch for a while, but opponents know the danger that he possess and you simply can’t rule out the kind of destruction that he can cause on a bowling attack. Breakers have things under control with the ball, so much so that they didn’t even have to call on Tijorn Pope to fire in his famed yorkers.
