Divers tried desperately to get momentum going but failed to do so. Othneil Lewis bowled a magical 4th over, taking wickets on the first two deliveries, and had a caught and bowl dropped off the final delivery, else it would have been a rare triple wicket maiden. Divers continued to struggle throughout and could only claw themselves to 90/7 from their alotted overs.
Hikers had little trouble in getting the job done as Maloney was in dangerous touch and destroyed the attack. He scored 54 from 23 deliveries, dealing largely in sixes, hitting seven of them and one boundary. Dillon Douglas supported beautifully with 26 runs from 14 deliveries, hitting 1 four and 2 sixes. Hikers got their score in 7.3 overs, making light work of their target and booked their spot in the playoffs.
