Match Preview: 21st Match – Botanical Garden Rangers vs Fort Charlotte Strikers

November 17, 2020

When these teams first met, Rangers was at the top and Strikers at the bottom and that hasn’t changed since.

In The Spotlight

Rangers just lost their first game yesterday and if there’s a time to get on top of them, it will be now. Strikers will be looking to finish the tournament on a high. They have improved in some areas, notably the batting and bowling powerplays. They however have lost the plot during the death overs in their recent matches so there is still major areas of concern.

Rangers at this point is guaranteed a finish in the top two, so the outcome of this game is irrelevant for them in regards to the playoffs. They might want to bring Solomon Bascombe off the bench to give him a taste of the VPL. Rangers batting continues to do well, even without contribution from some of the main batsmen, they still manage to climb to another 90+ score. Kenneth Dember has stepped up to the plate with bat and ball, the Rangers continuing to go from strength to strength.
