Rangers got off to an excellent start, flying their way to 37/1 in 3 overs. Jeremy Layne And Sunil Ambris bowled beautifully and took 5/26 combined off their 4 overs to curb the fast flow of runs that the Rangers were getting.  No one really carried on for the Rangers but they got good contribution from Donwell Hector who made 27 from 18 deliveries (1 four and 2 sixes) and Emmanuel Stewart who made 23 from 18 deliveries (2 four and 1 six). Rangers got 98/6 off their alotted overs. Jeremy Layne returned best personal figures of 4/8 from his 2 overs.

Ambris, clearly intent on not losing twice on the trot to the Rangers came out like a man on a mission and started to decimate the bowling attack. He was backed up by aggressor Ricavo Williams. The pair added 72 runs for the 2nd wicket off only 31 deliveries. By the time Ricavo Williams was out for 29 from 16 deliveries, the target was reduced to a mere 11 runs from 12 deliveries. Ryan John came and launched two sixes to wrap up the game safely for the Breakers.
