Match Preview: 18th Match – Fort Charlotte Strikers vs Dark View Explorers

November 15, 2020

Fort Charlotte Strikers probably blew their best chance or turning things around when they had Salt Pond Breakers on the ropes and allowed them to get away. Dark View Explorers on the other hand is growing from strength to strength, having won their last three games.

In The Spotlight

Fort Charlotte Strikers have a fairly good bowling attack, and they did well for 80% of previous the match. While they bowled badly in the last two overs, their batting is still a major area of concern. They are the only team not to get a score of 90+ this season, which pretty much sum it all up for them. Until they sort that, they won’t be offering much competition to any team.

Dark View Explorers are on a roll. They’re not conceding as much runs as they were doing in the initial stage of the competition. Their batting continues to be on song and the bowling is getting better and better, being lead wonderfully be the leg spin of Sealron Williams and pace bowling of Shaquille Browne. Explorers would be confident of winning this match up and go closer to booking a spot in the playoffs.

Weather

Lots of rain has been falling overnight and it looks to be a rainy day.

Pitch Conditions

The pitch looks in good condition for T10 cricket. It’s starting to slow down a bit but 90-100 still seems to be the scoring range to aim for to be in with a sniff of the game.
