Match Preview: 12th Match – La Soufriere Hikers vs Salt Pond Breakers

November 12, 2020

Salt Pond Breakers, the team to beat, isn’t looking to slow down. Hikers are desperately in need of points, having an unusual season so far.

In The Spotlight

Not much wrong is going wrong for the Breakers. The batting and bowling department are doing well. They however do look a little shaky whenever Ambris doesn’t score big. Urnel Thomas will need to step up if  the situation arises.

Hikers will need to score big to give themselves a good chance in the match. It’s been a while since captain Maloney has scored and he will want to stamp his authority in a big match. Hikers may look to go back to a spin based attack for today’s match.

The weather is fair today with a slight chance of rain but there is no indication that we wouldn’t get a full match at this time.

Pitch Conditions

The pitch looks in excellent condition for T10 cricket, perfect for stroke play.
