Match Preview: 8th Match – Botanical Garden Rangers vs Dark View Explorers

November 10, 2020

Before the start of the tournament, Dark View Explorers would have been the most talked about team, while Botanical Garden Rangers wasn’t one of the hyped up teams. As the saying goes, Cricket isn’t played on paper – Rangers are top of the table and the Explorers occupying the bottom spot.

In The Spotlight

Dark View Explorers would like to get moving on the points table. They have made scores of 99 and 116 which shows the batting is doing fairly okay, but they have conceded scores of 138 and 135, which depicts where the problem lies. They still have a few bowling options that they haven’t tried as yet, Alick Athanaze and Denson Hoyte so if either plays, they may get their first bowl of the tournament.

Things have been going the way of the Rangers, thanks in large to Emmanuel Stewart who has won man of the match award in both matches, scoring 33 from 12 balls and 46 from 16 deliveries, remaining unbeaten in both innings. The Rangers have a lot of experience and match winners in their camp with names as Hyron Shallow, Donwell Hector, Kenneth Dember and Keron Cottoy. They will be pumped and looking to stay top of the table.
