La Soufriere Hikers won the toss and choose to field. Othneil Lewis struck right away as he had Hyron Shallow caught at fine leg pulling. Romel Currency decided to take on the attack and struck a few boundaries. Othneil Lewis, continuing his impressive powerplay bowling, had Romel Currency caught and bowl. Kimson Dalzell, coming off an impressive last match, had the wicket of Ozico Williams, caught brilliantly by the wicket keeper Cosmus Hackshaw. Atticus Browne also fell, caught by Hackshaw off Dalzell, finishing the powerplay in deep trouble at 28/4.
Kesrick Williams came in and played a cameo, scoring 30 from 13 balls, hitting 4 fours and 1 six. Kenneth Dember added some support with 13 from 12, taking the Rangers total to a par score of 79/7 from 10 overs.
Kesrick Williams, pumped after a good personal batting display, was up to bowl the first over. On the very first delivery, the dangerous Salvan Browne was dropped. The Rangers bowlers tried but the Hikers batting was too powerful for them. All the batsmen chipped in to easily take down the target with 16 balls to spare.
