Match Preview: 24th Match – Dark View Explorers vs Salt Pond Breakers

May 28, 2020

There is still a lot to play for, in what will be the final match of the round robin phase. Dark View Explorers will know what they have to do in order to qualify, but as of now, it looks like they will surely have to win in order to have a chance to qualify. Salt Pond Breakers will want to win to remain top of the table, in order to play 4th place in the semi-finals.

In The Spotlight

Sunil Ambris has been in imperious form this tournament and is not sparing any deliveries slightly off line or length. In Urnel Thomas, they have a gun of a batsman that packs a serious punch. Kadir Nedd has been awesome for the Breakers at the top. The Breakers have a well rounded bowling attack, with Javid Harry doing an awesome job bowling the pressure overs.

For the Explorers, they will want their captain to come big when it really matters. Deron Greaves will have to step up as along with James, they’re the two most high profile batsmen in the line up, and in a crunch game like this, they will need to come to the party.

Weather

There is a possibility that some rain maybe expected but it should be short and not expected hamper play.

Pitch Conditions

Conditions are expected to be similar to what we have seen in the past few days – an excellent surface conducive for batting!
