Match Preview: 21st Match – La Soufriere Hikers vs Botanical Garden Rangers
La Soufriere Hikers are already through to the semi finals. Their batting has been on most times and they have been extremely entertaining to the fans. However, they have some issues in the bowling department as they have been taken apart on few occasions – had it not been for a stellar batting line up, they could have been further down on the table. They will want to start to get things right and work on a plan heading into the knockout round.
For the Rangers, another win will guarantee them a spot in the semi-finals. They wouldn’t want to leave their spot up to fate so they will come out trying to fire on all cylinders.
In The Spotlight
For the Hikers, Kimson Dalzell stared with the ball and managed to restrict the powerful Salt Pond Breakers line up. In Othneil Lewis, they have a champion powerplay bowler. Besides these, they have a lot of work to do with the ball and they’ll want to start to correct those wrongs.
For the Rangers, they had some resurgence at the top since promoting Ozico Williams to open with Hyron Shallow. Their batting now looks more formidable as they have the likes of Romel Currency, Kevin Abraham and Atticus Browne to come to provide quality support. The Rangers has a well rounded bowling attack that is quite capable of doing well so they will fancy their chances of getting a much needed win.
