Match Preview: 20th Match – Grenadines Divers vs Salt Pond Breakers
Grenadines Divers are currently sitting 4th in the points table, but not safe as yet to qualify for the semi finals, so they will want to get a win here to further push their case for a spot. For the Breakers, they suffered their first loss in round 6 but they have already qualified for the semi finals. They probably might want to give some of their other recognized batsmen a run to have everyone up and running for the knockout round.
In The Spotlight
For the Breakers, Sunil Ambris has been rampant in the last few games, being merciless on anything slightly off target by the bowlers. Kadir Nedd has been in fine form and they have both been supported well by Urnel Thomas. They however will want to see some of their other batters coming to the party.
For the Divers, they have found some resurgence through the captain Asif Hooper & Alex Samuel. They have a pretty decent bowling attack and they will be hoping they can stall the Breakers batting line up to steal a much needed win.
Weather
The weather is expected to be partly sunny throughout the day, without any expected rain interruptions.
Pitch Conditions
Conditions are expected to be similar to what we have seen in the past few days – an excellent surface conducive for batting!
