Match Preview: 14th Match – Salt Pond Breakers vs Dark View Explorers

May 26, 2020

Heading into this game, the Breakers will want to continue their winning ways to inch themself one step closer towards qualifying for the semi-finals. Dark View Explorers have been playing a lot of close games, and they would want to start being more clinical in their display.

In The Spotlight

The promotion of Shamon Hooper to open paid off for the Explorers as he made a breezy 34 from 22 balls. Along with Deron Greaves and Lindon James, they have a solid top 3 to rely on. Sealron Williams has proven to be a trump card with the ball, bowling his leg spinners.

For the Breakers, they’re on a batting roll, continuing to get good contributions from Ambris, Nedd & Thomas. They have quality in Donwell Hector and Rickford Walker, who are yet to come to the party. Their powerplay bowling has been handled brilliantly by Javid Harry’s left arm spin and they’ll want him to continue in that fashion.

Weather

The weather is expected to be sunny for most part with some clouds appearing intermittently, with a slight chance of some rain possible.

Pitch Conditions

Conditions are expected to be similar to the previous round – good even bounce for the batsman to cash in!
